A third candidate has announced for the 138th District State Assembly seat, this time a Republican.
Former Monroe County Legislator Robert Zinck launched his campaign this week. The district covers Henrietta, Chili and part of the City of Rochester.
Zinck represented Henrietta in the county legislature and is a former director of the Rochester-Monroe County Youth Bureau.
The seat is currently held by Democrat Harry Bronson. He’s running for re-election and being challenged in a primary by Democrat Rachel Barnhart, the former Channel 8 news anchor.
