The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office says a York woman has been charged with grand larceny after a man forgot his wallet on a gas station counter, and she grabbed it and didn’t return it.
Sheriff Thomas Dougherty says 48-year-old Sondra Beach saw a customer leave his wallet on the counter after paying for his gas and walk away. She then stole the wallet off the counter and left the station with it, all caught on security cameras.
Beach allegedly took the cash from the wallet and threw the rest away. It was later recovered by deputies.
