Rochester Police say a Greece woman is dead after being hit by a car while trying to cross Lake Avenue in Charlotte.
They haven’t yet released the name of the 46-year-old victim. They say she was trying to cross the street about 12:20 Saturday morning when she was hit by a car and pronounced dead at the scene. An accident reconstruction is underway by State Police.
The accident happened in the 3600 block…between Denise and Britton Roads. Police say charges against the driver depend on the results of the accident reconstruction.
