A Rochester woman who admitted selling the drugs that killed a man will spend two to three years in prison. Melinda Hamelinck pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide and two counts of sale of a controlled substance in connection with the death of Adam McLeod.
McLeod was found dead inside Hamelinck’s home last May. Prosecutors say Hamelinck sold McLeod cocaine and fentanyl, witnessed his overdose and didn’t call authorities.
