The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman killed in a two-car crash on Route 31 over the weekend as Janet Patlow of Brighton.
Deputies say the 78-year-old woman crashed between Spencerport and Brockport. They say Patlow was was driving east when she drifted off the road, overcorrected and went into the oncoming lane, striking another car head-on. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle, John Dick of Albion, and his two passengers all ended up in Strong Memorial Hospital and are expected to recover.
The crash remains under investigation.
