Rochester Police say a woman found on fire in a vacant lot on Dale Street suffered severe burns in what could have been a suicide attempt.
Police say they answered a 911 call and found the woman in flames. They and the fire department are investigating the incident as an arson case.
Police say the woman’s clothes caught fire in her home and she ran across the street to the field where first responders found her, still on fire. She was taken to the hospital and there’s no additional report on her condition.
