A Rochester woman has been charged in the murder of her year-old son and of beating her two-year-old daughter.
Police and the District Attorney say 26-year-old Bryasia Love was arrested Thursday, a week after she allegedly assaulted her children at their home on Joseph Avenue. She’s been charged with second degree murder and second degree assault.
Police say it happened at the Wilson Commencement Park Apartments on the evening of January 19th. That’s when Love called 911 and reported her son, A’Mias, was unresponsive. Police found the baby had suffered injuries including a fractured skull, cuts and bruises A’Mias died Tuesday at Strong Memorial Hospital.
Police investigated for a week before arresting Love and charging her with the crimes. Her daughter is now in the custody of her grandmother.
