A Rochester woman was arrested on a weapon charge after police officers heard a shot fired at a house party on Wellington Avenue early Sunday.

Police say they were called to the house for a loud party complaint and heard the shot as they pulled up. They set up a perimeter around the house and some 30 people came out. The home was searched and three unlicensed handguns were found.

Homeowner Victoria Allen, 28, was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a weapon and three counts of criminal possession of a firearm. She was taken to jail pending arraignment in City Court.
