An 84-year-old Farmington woman and her 12-year-old grandson were killed when fire hit their home on Ellsworth Road.
The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office says Mary Button and Conrad Button were killed in the fire. Crews arriving at the fire scene found 57-year-old Bernard Button outside but were unable to get to the other two in time.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
