Letoya Palmo, accused of assault, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child, goes on trial next month following a hearing Wednesday.
Police say Palmo was shooting video on her phone when her car drifted off Lyell Avenue into a parking lot. In that parking lot, a father was towing his two young children in a wagon. Palmo’s car hit that wagon, dragging the two young children some 50 feet and seriously injuring both.
Luke and Lily McDonald were seriously injured, and are recovering.
Palmo will go on trial February 3rd.
