A Bail hearing for the suspect in the Xerox Credit Union robbery and murder will be held on February 15th.
Richard Wilbern pleaded not guilty in federal court today to charges of murder, robbery and illegal weapons possession. He’s accused of holding up the credit union on the Xerox campus in Webster, fatally shooting a man who was waiting to make his car payment.
The FBI was ultimately able to track Wilbern down through DNA found on an umbrella that he left behind at the scene. His defense attorney says he plans to challenge that DNA evidence testing as unreliable.
