The Monroe County Sheriff’s are investigating who placed white supremacist fliers on several buildings at Saint John Fisher College.
College authorities say the fliers were posted overnight. St. John Fisher President Gerard Rooney said by email that he’s both “saddened and angered” by what took place. He says the Fisher campus is safe and the issue will be promptly addressed.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is handling the investigation, While white supremacist fliers appeared recently in both Pittsford and Brighton neighborhoods, the department says it is too early to tell if there’s any connection with the Wednesday night incident.
