Chicken & Waffle Cones: Sure to be a fan-favorite, this combo of chicken tenders, mashed potatoes, honey mustard and syrup all served in a delicious waffle cone highlights a host of new food items at the ballpark! This particular item can be found at Batter Up.

Joel Skinner: After three strong seasons under the guidance of Mike Quade, Joel Skinner has taken over the reigns as Wings manager. Joel has spent some time in the International League as manager of the Buffalo Bisons and Charlotte Knights.
Military Salute: Prior to the playing of God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch, we will be honoring a local veteran or active military member. To nominate a hero contact Travis Sick at TSick@RedWingsBaseball.com. Also new in 2018, all veterans and active military members will receive 15% off in the Red Wings Team Store.
Netting: Per the strong recommendation of Major League Baseball and to ensure the safety of our fans, a 15-foot high net will run the length of each dugout.
Pace of Play: Minor League Baseball has made a few rule adjustments with the intention of speeding up the pace of play. Of note, teams will only be allowed 6 mound visits per game, the pitch clock has been trimmed from 20 seconds to 15 seconds when no one is on base and during extra innings each team will begin each inning with a runner at second base.
Promotions: It’s nothing new that we have constructed an All-Star lineup of theme nights for the 2018 season, but we wanted to share a couple of the new ones: Renew Your Vows Night (May 18), Hop Bitters Fauxback Night (May 26), National Toy Hall of Fame Day (June 24), Salute to Groundhog Day Night (June 29), ROC the ROC Night (August 8) and Salute to The Sandlot Night (August 31). #TAFTP: Every Thursday the Wings will become the Plates featuring special Plate options and those delicious jerseys! You won’t want to miss our June 21 Duel of the Dishes against the Syracuse Salt Potatoes.
The Dugout: Located up the first base concourse, this new bar will include 15 brand new taps that will feature a powerhouse batting order of craft beers.
T-Shirt Tuesdays: Beginning May 15, every Tuesday we’ll be giving away a different t-shirt! Check the Red Wings social accounts for designs.
