A weekend inmate at the Livingston County Jail was arrested for attempting to smuggle drugs into the jail.

Sheriff Tom Dougherty says Ryan Bonadonna was sentenced to spend weekends in jail for another offense. When he reported on December 30th, a jail deputy spotted him trying to conceal Suboxone pills, Gabapentin and tobacco. She arrested him on drug and contraband charges.

He’s now being held on $5,000 bail.
