A Webster woman who admitted stealing more than $60,000 from her employer has been sentenced to between two-and-four years in State Prison. She’s also been ordered to pay the money back to the company.
Fifty-five-year-old Deborah Amy Vendel was office manager for Smith Automotive in Webster when she was charged with using the company’s credit card readers to process fake refunds onto her own cards.
She had two prior convictions involving theft from employers and was sentenced as a repeat offender.
