A Webster man died Sunday after being hit by a pickup truck while walking along Holt Road in Webster. It was the second fatality on Holt Road over the long holiday weekend.
Police say 69-year-old Gerald Cernis was hit at Holt Road and Orchard Street Sunday afternoon. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he died of his injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
