Webster Police are investigating a crash early Sunday morning that killed an 18-year-old driver and sent his five passengers to the hospital, some with serious injuries.
Police say a car driven by Brody Spade of Webster went off Gasberry Lane and smashed into a tree about 1:00 a.m. Spade was killed. An area resident pulled Spade and the five other victims out of the car before first responders arrived. Spade was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police are still investigating but say speed was probably a factor.
