Governor Andrew Cuomo’s office says 11 New York bars have had their liquor licenses suspended for “egregious violations of pandeic-related Executive Orders.” That includes a bar in the Village of Webster.

Burke’s Grill at 7 South Avenue in Webster was done of hundreds of bars around the state checked by the State Liquor Authority and State Police for compliance with social distancing and masking rules. They found violations at 27 locations, nearly a dozen of them severe enough to order liquor license suspension.

Cuomo issued a statement saying we must continue to be smart and cautious as we maintain a low coronavirus infection rate through reopening around the state. He said those who willfully violate the order will be suspended.
