The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office has charged two Monroe County residents with assault after investigating an incident that took place about a month ago in the Town of Ontario.
Deputies were called the night of May 28th to a gas station on Route 104 where an injured man had gone for help after being attacked behind a neighboring business. Investigators found the victim had been driven there by two young women who lured him out of the car where a man was waiting to beat him up. One of the women also hit the victim with pepper spray.
After reviewing security camera footage, deputies arrested 22-year-old Anthony Deleo of Henrietta and 24-year-old Christine Argust of Penfield.
