A Wayne County Sheriff’s Office investigator crashed into a car that suddenly turned left across his path this morning in Rose.
Sheriff Barry Virts says the crash happened at the corner of High Street and Wayne Center Rose Road.
Investigator Mark Loveless was driving east when the car driven by 51-year-old Wanda Baker failed to yield and drove in front of him.
Both were injured in the crash, and both taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The investigation is continuing, but Sheriff Virts says Baker will be ticketed for failure to yield at a stop sign, improper left turn and inadequate tires.
