Federal prosecutors say a 52-year-old Waterloo man has been sentenced in a Rochester courtroom to 30 years in prison after he was convicted of producing child porn.
U.S. Attorney William Hochul says Ronald Spoor was arrested in December of 2012 after students at a Seneca County school told school officials they’d been abused. State Police investigators questioned Spoor, who admitted to filming children under the age of 10 in the nude. A search found Spoor had rigged his camper with pinhole cameras and recorded images of children without their knowledge.
They concluded a total of five children were victimized.
