It’s Rochester’s latest infrastructure issue: a water main burst Sunday morning at Clinton Avenue and Avenue D on the Northeast Side. A sinkhole formed and the city water bureau had to dig up the street to come at the problem.

Police had to shut down travel on that section of North Clinton until late Sunday afternoon. They say Avenue D will be closed down from North Clinton to Hollenbeck Street until sometime Monday afternoon while the street is patched up.
