There’s a big hole in Chestnut Street downtown that the city Water Bureau is working to fill in today.
Police say they got a call from the Water Bureau to shut down Chestnut from Court to Broad Street near the East End last night after crews discovered an underground water leak somewhere in the area.
Crews worked through the night and this morning to fix the problem and were filling in and working to repave the trouble spot today.
