A second Walworth Town Board member has been accused of sexual abuse against a child.
State Police have charged 39-year-old Cody Phillips with endangering the welfare of a child, and course of sexual conduct against a child. They say he had sexual contact with the child a number of times over a period of several years.
Phillips is also a Wayne County Child Protective Services caseworker. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance.
Earlier this month, Canandaigua Police charged former town board member Karol Ambroz II with attempted criminal sex act for trying to meet what he thought was a 14-year-old girl.
