Rochester Police continue their investigation after finding a woman dead on the floor of Char’s South Ave Wine and Liquor late Thursday afternoon. They identified her today her as 46-year-old Charlotte Lahr of Greece.
Investigators and the Monroe County Medical Examiner were still on the scene today.
Police were called to the store on South Avenue near Highland Park just before 5:00 p.m. for a report of a robbery. They found the victim inside, with trauma to her upper body. CPR and first aid failed to revive her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are working to determine if the death was the result of a robbery, and they have no arrest so far.
