A 64-year-old Rochester man has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison followed by 10 years on probation after a Monroe County Court jury found him guilty of sexually abusing a child. Domingo Ventura will also have to register as a sex offender after getting out of prison.
Prosecutor Meredith Vacca called Ventura a “horrific predator,” and said his conviction was a tribute to the bravery of the young woman who went to the police.
Ventura was found guilty of “Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child” and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He assaulted a girl less than 11 years old.
