Ogden police say at least three people broke into Resch Automotive on Spencerport Road overnight Tuesday, taking the keys to at least five cars that were in for repairs.
Five cars were stolen from the lot, two of them later found in Rochester. As this is written, police are investigating the possible recovery of a third car. One car was found wrecked, the other was tracked down with OnStar.
Police say Amarieon Maybell, 18, of Rochester, was found near the scene of the burglary and charged with burglary and criminal possession of stolen property. He was released on an appearance ticket under New York’s bail reform law.
