The University of Rochester Medical Center has been awarded more than $19 million from the National Institutes of Health.
The money will fund the U of R’s Translational Science Institute, which turns new research discoveries into practical medical treatments. Its mission is to help get new therapies to patients faster and to improve the health of the general population.
