The Rochester area’s biggest employer says it will go to a $15 minimum wage by the end of 2022. The University of Rochester says it will phase the raises in, one this December and the final raise in December of 2022.

The University of Rochester is part of the Rochester-Monroe Anti-Poverty Initiative. It says by raising the minimum wage, it’s advancing the inititive’s goals of helping to lower poverty and spreading accessibility.
