The University of Rochester has filed a motion to dismiss the EEOC lawsuit, brought by professors and graduate students who say the UR botched its investigation into sexual harassment complaints against Professor Florian Jaeger.
A report by a law firm hired by the University says Jaeger did nothing criminal, but showed inappropriate behavior towards female colleagues and students. It suggested the university change its policies.
The plaintiffs who brought the suit claim they were retaliated against after coming forward.
