A person who was driving drunk and without a license crashed a car into the Speedway Gas Station on Lake Avenue early Friday morning.
The car crashed into several parked cars before hitting the building. Rochester firefighters and an ambulance crew got three people out of the car before police arrived. The driver went to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The two passengers, one a nine-year-old child, complained of pain and were also taken to the hospital.
The driver was charged with DWI, driving without a license and with violating Leandra’s Law for driving drunk with a child in the car.
