Unisys Corporation, the worldwide information technology company, says it will be closing its Rochester call center by the end of the year.
Unisys filed the required warning with the State Labor Department saying 178 employees will be out of work. The layoffs will begin in early May and continue until the end of 2017.
The office is on Kenneth Drive in Henrietta. According to the website “Glassdoor,” the Rochester office does technical support and the support reps make between $14 and $15 an hour.
