Rochester police investigators are looking for any possible connections between a pair of shootings late Monday night and early Tuesday morning on Dewey Avenue.
Police say a 41-year-old woman was shot in the 100 block of Dewey near Lyell Avenue about 10:15. A 44-year-old man was shot in the same area hours later, shortly after 1:00 a.m. Both victims were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and are expected to recover.
Police say the incidents didn’t occur in the same location, but were near one another. There are no suspects in custody so far.
