A pair of Rochester teenagers have admitted to firing shots from a speeding car into a group of people holding vigil on the street for a murder victim, killing one of the mourners.

The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office says 18-year-old James Graham and 19-year-old Samar Barron both pled guilty to first degree manslaughter. Another man, 20-year-old Isaiah Parker, also pled guilty to evidence tampering for trying to get rid of the car.

The DA’s office says Barron drove by the vigil on North Clinton Avenue last July 12th, while Barron fired the shots that killed Ali Huntley Jr. Each will serve 17 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision. Parker will serve a year in jail for having the car towed away in an effort to hide it.
