Two people were struck and injured by cars late Wednesday night in Rochester in unrelated incidents. Both happened about 10:00 p.m. in different parts of the city.
A man in his 30s was struck and seriously injured while riding his bicycle on Lake Avenue at West Ridge Road. The driver of the car stayed on the scene and cooperated with police. The bike rider is expected to recover.
Shortly after that, Police say a woman in her 20s was intentionally hit by a car during a domestic dispute on Columbia Avenue. The suspect fled the scene and is being sought by police. The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
