Two people suffered minor injuries but a man’s dog was killed this morning when two cars collided at the corner of Ridgeway Avenue and Latona Road in Greece.
Police say a truck was hit by another vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and hit a pole. The impact was so hard that the engine block was torn out of the truck and it caught fire.
The truck driver was able to get out, but his dog died in the crash. First responders rescued a woman from the car.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
