Two people were charged with disorderly conduct Monday afternoon during a protest in Webster.
A statement from Webster Police says 21-year-old Megan Falls of Rush and 23-year-old Megan Pietropaoli of Rochester were arrested during the demonstration at Ridge and Hard Roads. Free the People ROC has been protesting there to call for the resignation of Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley, who lives in the area. They’re also demanding arrest of the officers involved in the death of Daniel Prude earlier this year.
Police say they repeatedly told demonstrators to stay out of the road and on the sidewalk, but received calls from drivers who said they were being threatened and distracted by protesters
