Rochester police arrested two men early Monday morning, one for illegal weapon possession and the second after he tried to stop police from arresting the first man.
Police responded for a large crowd gathering on North Clinton Avenue. They ended up in a foot chase with a 23-year-old man who had an illegal handgun. As he was taken into custody, a 23-year-old tried to physically block police from doing so. He was also arrested on an obstruction of governmental administration charge, resisting arrest and menacing. He was released on an appearance ticket.
