Rochester police have made two arrests in the murder of 67-year-old James Wooden, who was found in a parking lot off Zoo Road in Durand Eastman Park early Wednesday morning.
Police have charged 29-year-old Kristin Dean-Krueger and 39-year-old Shannon Rienholtz with second-degree murder. Both are being arraigned Thursday morning.
Police say they were called to Pullman and Minder Street for an unknown cause at the same time as the Zoo Road murder was being investigated. They determined the call was related to the murder case. Dean-Krueger and Rienholtz were arrested based on an investigation by the Major Crimes Unit.
Police say this remains an ongoing investigation.
