The Rochester Fire Department fought a two alarm blaze last night in an apartment building on Troup Street.
Crews arrived to find smoke on the third floor in the 36 unit building after smoke detectors alerted the tenants. They confined the fire mainly to one apartment although it had begun to spread to the building’s attic.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and it appears nobody was hurt.
