Investigators including State Police divers searched behind a house and in a pond on property once owned by Ralph Sollie, whose wife disappeared in 1994.
Sandra Sollie vanished more than 22 years ago after leaving a shopping plaza in Macedon. Her home was found locked and her car was still in the driveway, but Sollie, her purse and her dog were missing. Her credit card was used eight days later by some people who found it on Reed Street in Rochester, but they had no idea where it came from.
Troopers went Monday to the home off Wiedrick Road in Macedon. They searched the woods behind the house with ATVs and K9 units and four divers went through the pond.
A spokesman says State Police were able to search the land because Sollie’s husband sold it to new owners, who gave their permission He says they didn’t find anything significant.
