Nine lawyers and a judge have gone through the process of trying to synch their calenders for the trials connected to the University of Rochester abduction case.

Tentative trial dates have been set for September 26th and October 31st. The judge will review statements from defense lawyers who want to sever the trials before confirming the dates.

There are supposed to be two trials for the nine defendants

Two U of R seniors were abducted in December, assaulted and robbed in what appeared to be a case of mistaken identity. The suspects were targeting another man who once shared an apartment with one of the victims.

The nine suspects include four ringleaders who face kidnapping, assault and robbery charges. Five others are charged with lesser crimes for their part in the abductions.
