An October trial date has been set for two of the three defendants arrested after last year’s shooting of Rochester Police Officer Jeremy Nash.

Nash was riding in an unmarked car when Tykal Glover and Kamiu Blake began shooting at each other across North Street. Shotgun pellets hit the officer in the neck.

Glover and Blake are facing gun charges along with co-defendant Anthony Fraiser. Assistant District Attorney Patrick Gallagher hopes to try all three together in the interest of efficiency.

But defense attorneys may ask the court for separate trials.
