The occupants of a jeep that got stuck on railroad tracks in Wayne County had gotten out and were trying to figure out what to do when a train came along and destroyed it.
State Police say the driver and his passenger were out of the jeep when the Amtrak passenger train hit it in Savannah. The train was on its way to Rochester and was able to resume after several hours. Nobody on the train was hurt and neither of the people who had fortunately gotten out of the jeep was injured.
