The Wayne County Town of Ontario has a new supervisor, following the sudden resignation of Joe Molino just days after he took office.
Frank Robusto will take the office for the rest of the year and a new election will be held in November for the rest of the term.
Molino won a close race against John Smith that wasn’t decided until the absentee votes were counted. He won by just 13 votes. Then Molino resigned just days after being sworn in, saying in his letter only that “extenuating circumstances” made his decision necessary.
