Police say they were called to the 500 block of Electric Avenue on the West Side for a report of an attempted robbery. Officers spotted the suspect car, a stolen Ford Fusion, on Saxton Street a short time later. The suspects refused to stop and tried to get away.
The car went across the city to 6th Street near Pennsylvania Avenue, where the driver went off the road. All three suspects ran and were captured after a brief foot chase. All are charged with attempted robbery and criminal possession of stolen property.
Two are 14 years old and their names were not released. The third, 18-year-old Tamarik Oliver, will be arraigned in City Court.
