Three people were taken to Rochester General Hospital after their car crashed into a pole on Clifford Avenue late Saturday night.
Rochester police say the driver apparently tried to pass another vehicle illegally, but lost control of the car and smacked into the pole. The pole was knocked over and power was cut to the surrounding neighborhood.
RG&E was brought in to get the lines restored. The 21-year-old woman driving the car and her 19 and 18-year-old passengers all complained of pain after the crash. Police say alcohol did not appear to be involved.
They haven’t said anything about charges so far.
