Rochester Police are investigating three shooting incidents in the city overnight.

A woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Strong Memorial Hospital after being shot in the lower body late Monday night on Borchard Street. Police say the victim is a 26-year-old city woman and they’re unsure what led up to the shooting.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. officers were called to the area of Edmonds Street and Monroe Avenue after neighbors heard gunfire. As that investigation was underway, a 23-year-old man was brought by Strong Memorial by private car suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body; also non-life threatening.

About 2:30 this morning, a 36-year-old Rochester man was driven by friends to Strong’s Emergency Department suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. Police say the shooting happened around 77 Earl Street. The victim is recovering.

They say the car carrying the shooting victim got into an accident at Ford and Exchange Streets south of Downtown while the driver was racing to the hospital.

Police have investigations underway into all three incidents.
