Rochester police are investigating three separate shooting incidents that happened Monday night.
Police were first called to the area of Troup Street Park where a large crowd had gathered and the situation turned into a conflict. A 28-year-old city man was dropped off at Strong Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound from the incident. He’s recovering.
About 15 minuted later, people heard gunfire in the area on Main and Henion Streets and a call to 911 reported someone shot. Police responded and found a 28-year-old city woman who’d been shot in the upper body. She was also taken to Strong and is recovering. Gunfire also hit a house on Henion Street.
Then shortly before midnight, officers went to Hudson Avenue and Ernst Street for another report of people hearing gunshots. A 27-year-old city man arrived at Rochester General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the lower body, and said he’d been shot on Ernst Street. He’s also recovering.
Police have all three incidents under investigation but no suspects or arrests yet.
