There were three shooting incidents Thursday or early Friday in Rochester, including the double homicide on West Main Street. The victims in the other two shooting incidents are expected to survive.

Rochester Police say a person was shot on Santee Street on the West Side about 10:30 Thursday night. They arrived to find a 15-year-old boy who’d been shot in the lower body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is recovering. 

Then about midnight, police were called to Genesee Street near Elmdorf Avenue. There they found a 36-year-old man who’d been shot in the upper body. He was also taken to Strong and is recovering.

Police have no suspects in either shooting and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 423-9300.
